20.40 - 21.30 Organizational meeting and a short lecture: Welcome to the Western Beskidy Mountains, a country of wolves, lynxes and bears (in Power Point)
2nd day

9.15 - 10.00 Time for preparation for a field trip (making sandwiches and tee/coffee to vacuum flasks, fitting of snow shoes, checking an equipment and outdoor wear, etc.)
10.00 - 16.00 Field trip to a territory of a wolf pack:
training in using of snow shoes
recognition of evidences of wolf and lynx presence within the area
identification of tracks of predators and ungulates in the field
16.00 - 17.00 Dinner
17.00 - 18.00 Break for resting
18.00 - 18.30 Resume of the field trip, presentation of using GIS methods in data computing and collecting.
18.30 - 19.15 Lecture: Wolf biology and behaviour (in Power Point)
19.15 - 19.30 Coffe break
19.30 - 20.15 Lecture: Tracking of wolves - methods and evidences of wolf activity in the field (in Power Point)
20.20 - 20.50 Lecture: Ecology and behaviour of lynx, tracking of lynxes (in Power Point)

wolf or lynx snow tracking, collecting of scats and prey remains
explanation and teaching different tracking methods, using of GPS during tracking,

18.00 - 18.30 Resume of the field trip, presentation of pictures taken during the walk
18.30 - 19.15 Lecture: Wolves in the Western Beskidy Mountains - distribiution and ecology, resolving of men/wolves conflicts and conservation problems

19.30 - 20.40 Night howling session. How to use a night vision eqiupment

9.45 - 16.00 Field trip: Training in using of radiotelemetry as a research method for mammals. Snow tracking of wolves and lynxes, collecting data in GPS

18.30 - 19.15 Lecture: Wolf distribution and ecology in Poland; large mammals migration corridors trough Poland to Westeren Euope, conflicts with roads and highways, our activities to mitigate the impact of transportation network on wolf habitats in Poland and abroad (in Power Point)
